The worst part of this job is delivering bad news to potential buyers in a sealed bid situation, when they've stretched themselves and offered on a property that they really, really want to live in yet they've lost out to another bidder. This has happened this week, and I've not only had to deliver bad news once - but six times over.
What this is indicative of is an IMBALANCE. A shortage of good quality homes in certain sectors of the market (if not all), a reliable level of demand, despite lockdown, and a commitment to moving regardless of the end of the stamp duty holiday looming.
On this occasion I'd like to have magic'd a whole street of comparable houses which I could have sold many times over, benefitting both my business, those selling, and those buying.
In the absence of magic, should you have a home to potentially sell in Uley, or centrally in one of the surrounding villages with a value between £300,000 and £400,000 (or otherwise) please get in touch for an informal chat, or for a FREE VALUATION. I'd love to be able to help you and to be able to help my catalogue of buyers find their forever homes.
